English and maths are essential skills for any job or career pathway you might want to follow.

Employers demand good numeracy and literacy skills. This is why we make sure English and maths skills training is built in to every course we run.

If you don’t already hold a GCSE grade C in English and maths, you can study on GCSE and functional skills courses for free.

If English is not your first language, we can help you improve your English and maths so you can study or find work, with our ESOL and EFL courses. You will get the skills you need to help you settle into life and work in the UK, studying all aspects of the English language,

We will discuss the level of study and type of programme that best suits your situation.


We can help adult learners improve their English, maths or IT skills with our range of employability courses. These are flexible, designed to fit in with work or family commitments. You would be supported by our team of friendly and supportive tutors.

Courses can take place in the workplace where applicable and many courses are free - contact us to discuss your requirements. 

Courses include:

  • Preparation for UK visas, citizenship and settlement
  • English courses: ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) and EFL (English as a foreign language)
  • Get that job: short courses to help you get into the job market. Covering: digital literacy, customer service, and health and safety. Some courses may be free, please contact us to discuss your circumstances.
  • Basic computer skills: learn the basics of using a PC and getting online.
